It is only a few years after our first “date” with the island but it was bound to capture our soul… “Why?” you may ask yourselves. The truth is that the island has its own way to win you over. Maybe it is because of its exotic beaches with the turquoise waters, or its traditional villages. The waterfalls and the picturesque fishing villages are memorable, too!

It could also be because of the locals who embrace you with their warmth and hospitality and make you feel at home. In order to reveal its hidden beauty, though, you need to unlock the island’s   “soul”. Come close to nature, play with the waves,  go kite-surfing in Myloi or windsurfing in Vassiliki. Explore the lagoon and the beaches on a bike, walk along the wooded gorge so as to reach the waterfalls in Dimisari.

Take one of the boats in the morning and visit the overgrown Prigiponisia or watch the sunset lying on a rock in Cape Lefkata.

It is true!!! I’ve loved the island of Lefkada since the first time I got there and this love hasn’t faded over the years. On the contrary, every time I visit the island, I discover a different aspect of it, even more charming, even more erotic… So, let’s all travel together to this magical island and let our senses and heart capture its beauty…
